Location & Accessibility: The hotel’s position is its greatest asset. Located in the heart of Dresden, sightseeing becomes remarkably straightforward; the major landmarks—including the Frauenkirche, the Zwinger, and the Residenzschloss—are all within a comfortable walking distance.
Parking: For those traveling by car, the parking facilities are a standout feature. Unlike many city-center hotels where garages are cramped and difficult to navigate, the parking space here is very accessible and well-dimensioned. It comfortably accommodates larger vehicles, removing the usual stress of urban parking and allowing for a seamless transition from the road to the room.
While the hotel remains "good and nice," it feels somewhat outdated and doesn't quite reach the contemporary standards of other Steigenberger properties. For a brand of this caliber, we were disappointed by the lack of certain in-room essentials:
No Espresso Machine: A standard expectation in this category that was noticeably missing.
No Bathrobes: These were not provided in the room, which detracted from the premium feel of the stay.

The location on one of the main squares was perfect! It was very close to any of the sights of Dresden that a person would want to see and close to many good restaurants. All of the hotel staff were amazing - from the front desk people, to the lobby bar and restaurant people, to the room cleaning staff.
The only issue I had was that they did not have a way for guests to recycle material such as glass, paper and plastic. I have stayed in hotels where there is a recycling bin in the room for guests to use.
