We loved the location —right in the heart of the old town on the main square, with views of the iconic Church of Our Lady and the Martin Luther statue just steps away. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed, though it faced the interior courtyard rather than the square.
Even though the hotel seemed only half full, no upgrade was offered, which was a bit disappointing. We arrived expecting the vibrant, bustling atmosphere I’d experienced at other Steigenberger properties but this hotel felt unusually quiet. Service at the front desk was adequate but not particularly warm or proactive.

Amazing location and very helpful staff. Great bed.
The bathrooms could use a renovation (slightly dirty silicone around the bathtub, etc). Our shower gell dispenser was empty when we arrived and this was missed when the room was subsequently cleaned. Seems minor, I know, but this isn’t a cheap hotel and I think things like that should have been addressed.

Check in took nearly 45 minutes. And this was after I made an Xcel chart of each person and each room a week prior. Also notifications from the hotel that everything was all set! When we finally got are room cards/keys 3 of the rooms where wrong( wrong bed, wrong names, etc).
On top of all that my reservation stated free breakfast for all rooms and showed them the conformation. Then the hotel charge me for all the breakfasts and VAT and City tax. All of these where included as per the Booking Confirmation.
I would like my money back as it was over 1000 Euros!!!

1- Fast check-in / check-out
2- Reception staff were friendly and supportive.
3- The location of the hotel, since it's in the city center and surrounded by restaurants.
4- Comfortable bed and clean room
5- The air-condition is good.
6- The high-speed Wifi.
7- The parking under the hotel good and clean.
8- Breakfast buffet was good.
In the parking area, there are only stairs, which makes it difficult to carry luggage up and there is no easier pathway available to reach the elevator.

the hotel exceeded all my expectations. Excellent location on the central square, next to Frauenkirsche. All attractions are within walking distance. The staff was attentive to the fact that it was my birthday. An additional bonus is the concert, which could be watched from the hotel window, since the concert takes place on the square opposite the hotel

Great Location. Walk to everything. Good selection of restaurants near by. Loved the large room with views overlooking the square. Great breakfast room. Friendly and helpful front desk team.
Wish that the spa had a jacuzzi or pool that you could use. I believe they had a steam room which was good but really would appreciate some kind of water action.

Great location, fabulous breakfast, front check in and breakfast staff were 5 star. Nice to have hotel bar on premises.
The room was tight and not well furnished. Couch and chairs were uncomfortable, as were pillows, but they brought extra. We always seem to get terrible room views through booking.com.
