Pleasant
The location is unbeatable with the main attractions of Dresden right at the doorstep. The receptionists were friendly even if a bit inexperienced. The lobby area is quite appealing with enough seating to catch up with your friends/co-travellers.
I was rather disappointed by the hotel since I had great expectations having stayed at Steigenberger in Frankfurt and Cologne. The quality is not up to standard. This is not a 5-star hotel, to be honest. The room was pretty standard 4-star quality with a glum view. The lights and half the sockets in our room were nonfunctional and the night receptionist couldn't make it work - also didn't seem to be surprised or interested. He did offer us a change of rooms but we didn't want to pack and unpack again so we just let it be. No apologies or even comments at check-out. They just seem to be milking the Steigenberger name to get reservations and charge a hefty rate.

Excellent location in the center of the city, with a public parking lot beneath the hotel. A top quality facility clean, modern, quiet and with excellent staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent breakfast. Nice quite large room facing the inner square. Good room service with a couple of small problems:. Hotel is in the middle of Dresden old town - couldn't be more centrally placed! Friendly staff.
Room service didn't specify how to keep or change towels. When face tissue paper holder ran empty on day 2, no "fill up" until we left. Small bottles for shampoo and body lotion wasn't substituted when empty. Yet, these were small "errors" relative to an otherwise perfect stay at Steigenberger.

Very Good
Good hotel on the main square and we had a view of that and the cathedral's dome which was lovely. Very nice staff, very good breakfast with healthy items on the balcony overlooking the square. Big and quiet room that was nicely appointed.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and boasted incredibly comfortable, spacious rooms. The design was stunning, with a unique and captivating atmosphere. The furniture, as well as the food and breakfast, were superb. Overall, our experience left us very satisfied.

Wonderful
Location is very good. Breakfast was very nice. Good bread, lots of choices, very decent teaselection. Fresh orangejuice is a big plus. Good service at breakfast and in reception. Room spacious, comfortable and bathroom nice and clean, everything works well.
