The location could not be more central, with public transport connections and restaurants directly outside. The room was very comfortable for a solo traveler and had everything you need. Access to the lobby at night was restricted to only guests with a key card. Inclusion of a safe for valuables and refrigerator for food and drink was very welcome.
The hair dryer in the room did not work. There is a church very close and the bells could be heard first thing in the morning. Breakfast at the hotel was quite expensive. The room would feel a little small if it were shared between 2 people.

I was disappointed that the hotel only provides a birthday welcome for an additional fee. There was no coffee in the room, housekeeping didn’t clean properly, and no water was provided on the second day

Staff were all extremely helpful. They say good morning to you every day and are always ready to help. Breakfast staff are also great. Room can be cleaned daily or otherwise you can get a drink voucher per day you want to skip. The front desk was able to get me extra pillows, mint tea, and call me a taxi. The breakfast was great and included the famous Dresden stollen. The elevator was quick. Location was central. The temperature in the room was perfect and the price of the room was great value for what you’re getting. Bed was very comfortable and room was spacious. I liked it so much I even ended up extending my stay! The lights in the room are very intuitive to turn on and off, even from the bedside table. There is a McDonald’s, KFC, and Starbucks downstairs of the hotel if you’re into that. Checkout is automatically very late (12) and you can extend it for €10 an hour from there if you want.
The pillows were old and floppy and my room only came with two. Thankfully I went to reception and asked for two more pillows and they gave them to me instantly. Also housekeeping repeatedly forgot to refill the shower gel / shampoo.

Nice location, right by the Christmas Market.
Booked this hotel and paid higher price to get the room with the Christmas Market view and sent in a special request for this room. However, during check-in, they told that everyone is requesting the same room and they cannot give me this room with the Christmas Market view. They specifically mentioned there would be bottled water in the room but there’s absolutely nothing in the room. It was raining during my check-out. Unfortunately, Uber and bolt are not working in Dresden. I asked them to call a taxi during the checkout. They asked me to wait across the street for the taxi and I was waiting there in the rain for twenty minutes for the taxi

Room was way too hot and couldn’t cool it down. We slept with the window wide open but then had drunks with fireworks, a yelling women and church bells (they were lovely however).

Great location to markets, and breakfast was great
Price for the quality of the room. I asked for a market view and we weren’t even asked if we wanted it but when we asked they were giving it away to the people next to us. I feel like my requests should’ve been honored if it was available, especially for the price you pay.
