The room was clean and hotel was in an excellent location for the main Dresden Christmas market. Some rooms come with a view of the markets
The room was hot and the bed was not very comfortable - very stiff. Opening the windows led to much noise as the hotel is right outside the tram station and some nightlife. We unfortunately could not secure a room with a view of the market even though we had asked multiple times. That may just be unlucky though.

Nice location, right by the Christmas Market.
Booked this hotel and paid higher price to get the room with the Christmas Market view and sent in a special request for this room. However, during check-in, they told that everyone is requesting the same room and they cannot give me this room with the Christmas Market view. They specifically mentioned there would be bottled water in the room but there’s absolutely nothing in the room. It was raining during my check-out. Unfortunately, Uber and bolt are not working in Dresden. I asked them to call a taxi during the checkout. They asked me to wait across the street for the taxi and I was waiting there in the rain for twenty minutes for the taxi

I think if we had known the bathrooms had very little privacy we would have had two rooms instead of the suite. It was a little uncomfortable with our Canadian humility when travelling with our 20 year old son.

This hotel was wonderful! We stayed on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the Altmarkt. It was lovely to be out there and watch the area at nighttime.
The room itself was more like a suite. There was a “foyer”, so to speak, with open space, closet, and the bathrooms. The toilet was in a separate room which was ok. Very adequate space in the shower and sink room. Nice shower.
The bedroom was plenty large. The bed was comfy. There were outlets on both sides of the bed!!!! A win!
Our room was completely quiet.
Breakfast was amazing. We’d originally booked without breakfast because it was 20€, but we quickly realized that anywhere else we’d get just a coffee and pastry for that much so we opted in. Holy moly, what a great set up. Everything you could imagine was there. So fresh and well stocked.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. Spoke good English.
We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location is perfect, 15-20 mins walk from the train station or a short tram ride, and 5-10 mins to the old town centre. There is even a big shopping mall with a supermarket just across the square. The room looked bright and new, and staff were helpful. Highly recommend!

This is a very well maintained hitel with professional staff and all of the courtesy and attention that comes with it. I would give it a hard 3+ stars.
There’s a belltower nearby that takes pride in ringing every 15 minutes. Bring earplugs)

Location is perfect for tourist. The Herbmarket was in full swing during our visit - with food and craft stalls and nightly entertainment. It was a wonderful surprise to immerse in the german food and crafts.
The room was a little warm. Although there was air condition, we were not instructed on how to operate it. So for most night we had the window opened, which was not ideal as it faces a very crowded street and was noisy.
