Located within the grounds of the 18th century Schloß Pillnitz palace, this privately run hotel enjoys a beautiful setting by the river Elbe, surrounded by picturesque vineyards and fruit orchards. Look forward to the romantic and spacious rooms of the 4-star Schloss Hotel Dresden Pillnitz. Wake up from a peaceful night's sleep to an excellent breakfast buffet. Free WiFi is available in the lobby. Some of our Comfort and Superior rooms have whisper-quiet air conditioning, which can be booked for an additional charge of €8.00 per night. Air conditioning is included in the room rate in the suites, as is the case for stays of four nights or more. From April to October, sit in the beer garden, where you can enjoy draft beer and hearty meals. Tasty Saxon dishes are served in the conservatory café. Half board consists of breakfast as well as a regional 3-course dinner in the conservatory café. When the weather turns cold, enjoy the cozy restaurant with its open fireplace and dine on delicious Mediterranean cuisine. From the jetty, which is just 492 feet away, take a ferry trip down the Elbe to the romantic Sächsische Schweiz (Saxon Switzerland) region or the cathedral town of Meißen. Alternatively, you can use one of the hotel bicycles and explore the area following the nearby Elbe cycle path.

Just perfection! The staff was really friendly and the location is beautiful (we went there in December, and it was just in front of the Christmas Garden Dresden). Also getting to the city center of Dresden by bus/tram was definitely easy. Parking was unproblematic, Breakfast was delicious! Would definitely come back!

If I have to be really picky, I would say that the pillows were way too soft - which is but rather "standard" in German hotels.

Lovely location, great staff. Restaurant was excellent and breakfast also very good. Bathrooms were large, shower with good pressure

The beds and pillows were uncomfortable for us.

Wonderful

Very nice hotel, maintained to high standard, big family room with comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with good choice of food even for a picky little ones. Plenty of free parking just outside of hotel so very convenient for parking a van with a roofbox on top?.

There was an option for an extra bed for an extra fee of about €30, although it was not very comfortable, fine for 1 night but not the best for longer stay.
