All the basics were covered. The location is a short walk to the tram and the S-Bahn (though not exactly central or "in" either the old or new city). We used the sauna every day and basically had it to ourselves, which was great.
We had a situation where we were concerned when we came back and found our hotel room open. We went down to the front desk to ask someone to accompany us to check the room because we were two women travelling together and were scared, but for some reason the person at the desk started arguing with us and took a while before accepting to help us, which I thought was strange. Nothing was missing in the room and nothing came out of that, but I was surprised that this person was at first unwilling to help. Outside of this I do have to say that the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very helpful staff, comfortable beds and linen, quite spacy room, good location (walking distance: main monuments 40 min., train station Neustadt 15 min., tram stop 5 min), breakfasts, kettle (you can ask for it at the reception) and small fridge in the room, free parking places along streets nearby. I traveled with family so connected rooms were very good solution.
Air circulation in the room: when you open window you can hear very noisy street, when you close it - you breathe stuffy air. No fresh and tasty gluten-free bread for breakfast.

Nothing as such It wasn't a problem for us, but not very close to central points like Theaterplatz, you would need time to commute on public transportation.

It was close to the office. Parking is easy (but not free).
Unlike room 242 on the second floor I stayed in before, 530 on the fifth is very noisy - closer to the lift, making it busier around the door. The box for the fridge doesn't have an external door, so I had to switch it off to make the room quieter, but the worst of all is the noise from the gym on the sixth floor, namely the treadmill. If someone is running on it, it is impossible to focus on anything like watching TV or working on a PC...sleeping is impossible. The gym is open from 10 to 22, making it impossible to use in the morning, and it isn't quiet for the people on the floor below. Also, I don't get the point at all why access to the sauna is for an extra fee. I don't know how much extra money it brings, but I think it should be free for hotel guests. Especially when the room rate is over EUR100,-. I will try to avoid this hotel in the future, unless it costs half of the current rates. There are many better options in Dresden.
