Nice hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel is well situated, a short walk from the Dresden new train station and an easy walk to old town. It is more of a business type hotel than a tourist hotel, that said, it did have everything you could want or need. We chose it for its close location to the train station and proximity to downtown. If you are looking for something with a little more character, this is not it. I'd compare it to a Moxy hotel. All in all a good stay and would stay here again.
Room was pretty small with not a lot of space for luggage, especially with two people.

The room was very clean, the location is nice and very close to the Dresden Neustadt bahnhof.
The staff were nice and helpful and the breakfast was also quite nice with a relatively wide range of options.

The staff were great; we were upgraded to a wonderful room with a great shower.
I complain about this each time I stay at Motel 1 ... The lack of net curtains in our room. This is MAJOR. We have no privacy when the curtains are open. This is the big question I have each time when I think of staying with you.

Location is very convenient. Several trams run in different directions.
It was quite, I assume the room isolation was good.

Super old hotel, not well maintained (holes in bathroom doors). We asked for couple's room, got 2 beds put together. Hotel room is super small. Hotel staff is too pushy. Definately not worth the money we paid. We won't be coming back there for sure.
