Exceptional
I came for a concert at the Zwinger, and this hotel was a short walk. Staff were so attentive and polite, and the room and entire place was wonderful value for the price. Would stay here again if I return!

The main selling point of this hotel is the location. It is very central and you need few minutes by foot to get to any of the city attractions. The room was clean, nicely decorated, but small. The breakfast was fine, not cheap, but fine. One day it was a bit crowded in the breakfast area, but ok, we did not wait too long to get a table. There are plenty of nice places to have lunch or dinner in this area, with different price tag and variety - this was nice. Hotel offers a nice underground garage. It is big enough, however we have observed that here were days when it was almost full. We could park our car with no issue, the price to be considered, remember, you pay for the location.
On morning there was no hot water in the room what was a bit uncomfortable. When I have asked about this at the lobby, the person staying behind the desk seemed to be already annoyed by the question about the hot water and his behaviour was a bit off. Another advice - be ready for the noise coming from the city trains. We were lucky, our room was on internal side and the noise was not really and issue - still, be aware. There is no fridge in the room - not a big deal, still, to be able to store something there would be nice.

Location on the edge of the Altstadt. Reasonably easy (<20min) walk from Dresden Hbf (and slightly closer to Dresden Mitte). Decent breakfast (cold collation, cereals, breads, etc.) Room comfortable with loads of charge points. Room 522 had balcony view over trams.
No tea kettle allowed in room. Trams were a bit noisy. Room stuffy without window open.

Charged €12 for two bottles of water in the bar to bring up to the room as there was no water available in the room, staying at a nice hotel , drinking water should be available for guests in the room when there is no shops near by

Exceptional
Yet another fabulous stay at this lovely hotel. Had a perfect room again this time with views overlooking the Zwinger Palace, it was very quiet. The staff are all very friendly.
