- Proximity to Old Town
- Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and train station
- Clean and modern facility
- Comfortable beds
- Restaurant/bar were closed due to staff shortage/illness. No alternative service available in-house but there were plenty restaurants nearby so didn't bother us too much.
- Unable to connect mobile devices to television. Front desk staff appeared not to have received training how the technology works so they can guide guests.

I did not like the "burning fireplace" on the TV, but of course, I could turn it off (each and every time I entered my room!). I missed the possibility to contact someone at the desk. Even with a handy, it would be a problem should a guest experience a heart attack or stroke in the night! A telephone is not necessary but perhaps just a buzzer?!

The staff is great, the hotel is very clean, good breakfast. The heating is also on in winter and the bed is comfortable. I liked the desk corner.
The room had no fridge nor closet, the bathroom was not fully equipped. For the price I paid I expected a full hotel facility, especially in a city like Dresden, which has an affordable market.

Wonderful
- it was my 3rd time in Dresden and Motel One - excellent location: 50 m to Zwinger, 80 m to the Palace, 100 m to Opera (we are a couple of 50+ yrs old) - friendly personnel, cozy surroundings, amazing quiet & peaceful lobby - convenient underground parking
- relatively modest breakfast and too many people trying to get it at once (not critical though)

Very clean & modern facilities. A fantastic location. The staff was also lovely.
The air conditioning wasn't working & the bed was mildly uncomfortable.

The bar area was fantastic, it had a real community spirit. It was right in the city centre. Staff very helpful.
The room was a touch small, and did not have an armchair to rest.
