We took a train from Berlin to Dresden. After we left the terminal, we were literally standing in front of the InterCity Hotel! As a matter of fact, you have to also cross the local above ground rail to get to the hotel, so I would give access to local transportation a 12! It was incredibly handy!
The rooms were fantastic. We opted for two rooms for the three of us, but they put us close by so it worked out great. Very roomy and comfortable. It had everything we could have wanted.
We had breakfast twice while we were there. On our 24 day trip, this was the best hotel breakfast that we had! GREAT selections and the coffee was fantastic. We were really happy we chose to have breakfast there instead of out on the town. The staff was also very good and receptive.

The property is located a short walk from Dresden HBF, so it was an easy to drag our bags from our train to check-in. Despite the proximity to the station, we could not here any railway noise from our room. All of the staff spoke very good English and were extremely helpful with anything we asked. The Hotel offered us a reduced rate on the HopOnHopOff bus, which gave us access to the buses every day of our stay. This was handy for getting around the city, although most places of interest are within walking distance from the hotel.

I like the location as it’s just across the central train station. Breakfast was good with many options.
Overall, good stay except they haven’t cleaned the room and replaced the towels on our second day despite advising at check-in that we want our room cleaned daily.

Really polite, welcoming & helpful reception staff. Very good breakfast buffet. Superb location 2 mins' walk from central train station and trams.
Unfortunately lifts weren't working for 2 days of my stay. Lobby/outside door requires key access after a certain hour, but this wasn't communicated up-front.

The staff have been super nice to us , they gave us 3 daily train pass , saved us so much money and convenient. They also helped us to call booking for changing our stays in Italy due to the National stiles for public transportation and air strike in next month ( September, 2025) . The room is nice and they have provided toiletries very good , the most amazing location is next to a big mall and a cross from Dresden main train station which have made our trip to Dresden very pleasant. Thanks and please keeping the great works .

Very modern property, room was clean and pretty comfortable. Bed was a little firm for our liking, but slept okay. Front desk staff are very nice, helpful, responsive. I joined the InterCity hotel rewards program which provided immediate benefits, free public transportation for our stay, 25% discount on breakfast (normally $21), and some discount on future stays. Very close to main train station, less than 10 minute walk with luggage. Really enjoyed this hotel.
Bed too firm, pillows flat, but hard to please everyone. Otherwise, no issues.

I occupied a business room, so I guess it was slightly bigger than normal rooms. It was clean, quiet, and comfy. Most staff were exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and helpful, but others (very few) were not. I loved the breakfast. The location is fantastic, although the area around the main station is rough. It was the perfect place for me.
The cleaning schedule did not always work as it should have given my stay there for several weeks. But in the end we managed.

breakfast buffet was very good. I would have liked a bigger choice of breadrolls, though. Apart from that I didnt miss anything.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during my whole stay.
And the tv always started with a screen asking you to become a member of the hreward programme (which I was anyway!) There was no manual for the tv, like how to get out of this and into the actual tv, no list of programmes etc... I figured out how to switch, but it would have been nice to know what was on
