The location was okay, but it was dirty all over so I didn't feel comfortable. Also the wall was too thin and I anoyed by neighbors noise. The stuff was not friendly also not that bad, something neutral, I could get so many nicer places with this price. I will never choose this dirty hotel.

We stayed at ibis Dresden near the main train station and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The location is hard to beat — especially if you're arriving by train. The hotel is just a short walk from the main station, and at the same time within easy walking distance of the old town, restaurants, and shops. Perfect for a short city trip without needing public transport. The room was simple but very clean, and surprisingly quiet - exactly what you want for a city break. We also appreciated the professional hotel setup — 24/7 reception, luggage storage, and the overall reliability you expect from a hotel chain. Compared to many apartment-style accommodations, this felt very convenient. Plus, they have a minibar in the form of a "maxibar" at the reception, which was really handy for a late-night snack or drink. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money.
There are only minor downsides. The rooms are on the smaller side and the design is quite simple, but everything is functional and well maintained. For a short stay, this was absolutely sufficient.

Perfect location for a stay close to the City Center and still close to the TU Campus. Nice breakfast and clean facilities.
The carpet floor in the room was not very clean.
