Dust on the room ceiling. Compact reception and straight-forward staff. No free parking.

The building itself was outdated and wasn't clean. The staff, though they were quick and effeiciant they, clearly didn't like their jobs as they were a bit rude and unfriendly. Nowhere on the website, or signs, or booking did it say you needed to pay for parking. But when you check in, you have to pay almost 20 for the parking, which is wild since it is a dirt parking spot behind the building by all the trash cans and dumpsters. The cleaning staff were working all day and night, as you could hear them going through the hallways and rooms with their machines and supplies. The walls are very thin, and you can hear everything. That includes the roads outside, the tvs and people talking from above you and next door. If you are on the first floor, you are so close to the lobby that you can hear people coming in and out of the hotel at all times. The bathrooms were so small that a normal-sized person could barely fit in the shower, and their legs would hit the door when you are using the toilet. The bed was as hard as a roc,k and the pillows weren't even pillows, they were so flat that you needed to fold it to make a normal German pillow. The tv romote didn't work, and the staff at the desk didn't have any batteries to replace. The blinds and curtains were so thin that the street lights that were right outsidecame into the room. The breakfast was so small that you needed to wait 20 mins for the staff to bring more food because after three or four people, it was empty. The choices were so minimal that you were definitely going to be hungry if you didn't like bread, milk, or cheese. The cups for the coffee machine were dirty, and it ran out of milk, and no staff were there to assist. All of this would have been ok if I paid maybe 20 for the night with breakfast, but for what I paid, which was almost 4 times that amount, I was not happy and will not be staying there again or recommend it to anyone.
