Super friendly staff from Meike who received us on arrival and who finalized our checkout to Jana and Victoria in restaurant. They were all really attentive to everything sincerelly willing to make our stay perfect. Room was big with a nice view on tge city. On breakfast we had all kind of things to choose from. It made sense to opt in for. Summarizing: that's the place I'll return, that's the place I'd stay in Dresden.

Located a short distance from the central area of Dresden, it was easy to reach many places simply by walking. Although it is located in a quiet residential area, there is a supermarket and a small shop nearby, which were very useful during my stay there.
The rooms are comfortable and very spacious, with more space than is common to find in other hotels. I found the maintenance and cleanliness to be excellent. In addition, the location of the hotel, on a spacious plot of land next to the Elbe River, means that all the rooms are well lit by natural light, which I also liked a lot, as well as the beautiful landscape that can be seen from all floors.
The hotel staff were friendly and professional and I thank them for the kindness with which I was treated.
Hotel Am Terrassenufer is definitely a hotel that I would recommend to other travelers.

Room on the 11th floor with an amazing view of the old city. Great location. Very clean. Very big rooms.
The breakfast was a bit pricy for the offered things and quality.

Short distance from the old town center. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was special - in a pleasant sunny rotunda structure with a wide selection of healthy, quality food.

Location was very good, easy walking distance to centre. Nice low-key feeling to the place --suits me very well. Big spacious room -- not very common these days.
Fairly minor but [1] it would have been nice to have a kettle and tea. Water only supplied. [2] When my flight was delayed by 4 hours I tried to advise the hotel but no-one answered the phone. I sent an e-mail but wasn't sure it had been received.

Great location by the river for visiting the old and new city centres, seeing the sights and taking in the historic river ambience. Easy walk into the historic central areas, with scenic views galore.
Excellent staff on duty at reception; welcoming, informative and helpful.
The hotel has a small, intimate, relaxed and quiet feel, being located just outside the busier inner city areas.
I visited Dresden for just two days, one night, but saw a lot in that time staying at this hotel.

Spacious and clean room, big windows provide a nice view of the city and the river.
Because of the collapsed bridge, it is not very convenient for pedestrians. By the way, it would be better if a coffee machine were inside the room.
