I loved this place. Great staff. Fun bar downstairs. I even met some locals to hangout with. Best neighborhood for nights out in Dresden. The room was fine. I mostly only showered and slept there.
Would I prefer there wasn't a noisy tour group of teenagers staying there when I did? Yes. But in fairness, it is a hostel. And they only allow groups during the off-season. If that's what it takes for them to stay in business for my next trip, then I'll put up with it. I hope to be back soon.

The kitchen area is well equipped and has enough space to store some groceries.
The beds are comfortable and the lockers are spacious. The staff was very nice and friendly as well.
The door lock is relatively loud. If someone is coming in at night, it sounds even louder.

Board games, relatively clean rooms, kind service. Some public transport means nearby with good connections to the city.
There were literally 10 dead bees/wasps in the men's bathroom. No idea how that happened but thankfully they were gone after a day. Apart from that, the kitchen/leisure 'room' is part of the bar. Accordingly it gets pretty loud in the evening.
