Our apartment was attractive, comfortable, well-equipped, and much bigger than I could have imagined. Eating the breakfast that Herr Schuster brought up to our room at the same time each morning was probably the nicest part of our trip (though we loved visiting Dresden, too!). All in all a fantastic value!

Gorgeous, spacious and comfortable apartment with a lovely breakfast and helpful manager. It's in a good location for getting to all of the attractions in Dresden.
The only issue was the noise from the trams as they pass over a nearby junction. However, after busy days we were still able to get plenty of sleep.

Big, roomy apartment that was very clean. We came in winter, so it was very cold, but the rooms stayed nice and warm with radiators on and doors closed. There is a secure car park very nearby (9 per day) and the apartment is conveniently located, with old town Dresden and the Semperoper a short walk away. Wi-Fi worked great for us.
These next points are caveats for others, especially non-Europeans. This is not a hotel, per se, so you will not have the luxury conveniences of a hotel. For instance, there was ONE roll of toilet paper (no spares) and no other paper products, like tissues, napkins, etc. We stayed for 3 nights and did not have daily housekeeping. We were told at checkout that someone knocked on our door each day to offer housekeeping, but we never heard a thing. We did not have the breakfast that everyone else has raved about because the guy checking us in seemed to discourage it by saying there were lots of bakeries nearby. Also, for non-Europeans: be aware that there is no elevator (a problem if you are disabled or have lots of heavy luggage) and that the shower is one of those modified bathtub types. This means that you are standing the wrong way in the bathtub, feet at a funny angle, with a somewhat flimsy, glass half-door behind you. That said, the shower worked fine and the water was always warm. There was some noise from the street, and an occasional barking dog above us, but nothing that really affected us. The noise from outside may be a completely different issue in summer, when windows are open, as there is no central A/C.

Clean and big room. Breakfast is of good quality and amount. Great host. You can reach every important location quite easy by walking or tram. I would stay again here if I come back to Dresden.
