Hotel design is great also the location is perfect and view from the suite
I've visited hotel 5 years ago and now and to be honest it needs a serious touch of renovation. Suite had seen better times, probably 3-4 years ago. There're multiple minor damages across the room and bathroom

Decent size room
Room was absolutely freezing. The room just wouldn't get warm. No snacks available or room service which isn't ideal when you checked in late. Only two teabags. Staff were miserable. Better places in Dresden to stay.

I did not have breakfast, but found the location excellent - a 15-minute walk straight down the Ostra Allee to the main city attractions (though many trams go up and down). The Reception ladies were very friendly and helpful. The shower was a dream and so easy to use (versus showers in many hotels which are complicated to work out how to use them).
I was surprised not to find a wardrobe in the room with hangars, only 2 hooks on the wall and not even a chair to hang clothes over, only a pouffe. The room was noisy once the trams started driving up and down the Ostra Allee early in the morning.

My room was spacious, quiet, clean and in a well-designed, contemporary style. What impressed me most, however, was the hotel's dedication to the Penck--his work is in the rooms, halls, and the lobby is also a gallery devoted to his life and work. Fascinating.

The location is very close to the train station. Or I should say u- bahn subway station. The hotel is clean n the employees are nice and helpful. Easy to get to all of the sights n not noisy around hotel area. Would stay here again.

It is a good location for the congress centre and only a short walk into the centre of Dresden. The hotel is comfortable.
I only got my room cleaned once (during a 3 day stay), but perhaps they only clean a room every other day. Sorry but the artwork is horrible!

Great breakdown, loved the juice making machine especially but liked a lot the other food options as well. Very good location, 5-10 min walking from downtown Dresda.
The place looks better in photos than in real life. A little tired the hotel overall but nothing too extreme.
