Wonderful
Great location, friendly staff, and a spacious room. TV had a wide selection of channels. The artwork on the walls was cool. Good value for the money.
Shower drain was slow, and there was no real place to hang clothes.

My room was spacious, quiet, clean and in a well-designed, contemporary style. What impressed me most, however, was the hotel's dedication to the Penck--his work is in the rooms, halls, and the lobby is also a gallery devoted to his life and work. Fascinating.

The location is very close to the train station. Or I should say u- bahn subway station. The hotel is clean n the employees are nice and helpful. Easy to get to all of the sights n not noisy around hotel area. Would stay here again.

Overall it was “fine”. The art of Penck is wonderful. The bed was comfortable.
The form is more important than the function. A terribly designed bathroom. The place feels lifeless and cold.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, the art adds a nice touch, bike rental, the "Classic Double" was well appointed with good use of space.
A little bit of quirkiness.....in my room there was no place convenient to plug in the coffee maker, the house keepers come in every other day so if you need more coffee stuff you have to remember to ask.

The bathroom was small, cramped. On the map that I consulted in advance, it looked as though the hotel was much closer to the center than it actually was.

Everything was great, modern facilities, good breakfast, pleasant staff. Only negative was that we were confirmed twin room on booking but also at check in only to find double rooms when we went in.

Pleasant
The staff was wonderful. Art pieces around makes this place interesting. Sound and light isolation was good. Breakfast was ok.
There was no coffee machine or mini refrigerator in the room. The shower temperature was inconsistent. The view from the window was just another building close. I could barely see the sky. Vasistas system wasn't working so I couldn't ventilate the room.
