I had an excellent stay at Aparthotel Münzgasse An der Frauenkirche for 5 nights in Dresden, and it truly exceeded my expectations.
The studio apartment was outstanding—very spacious, well-designed, and extremely comfortable. It felt more like a luxury home than a hotel. The apartment included comfortable sofas and beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, two bedrooms, a large living hall with a TV, a big dining table that could easily accommodate up to eight people, and even a separate dressing room. Simply put, I lived like a boss, and the experience exceeded my expectations by 300%.
The reception staff deserve special appreciation. They were very kind, flexible, and responsive, and they addressed all my queries promptly and professionally, which made my stay even more pleasant.
The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Dresden Altstadt, directly opposite the Frauenkirche. It is easily accessible by nearby tram and bus stations. There are plenty of continental restaurants, souvenir and gift shops, museums, and attractions all around. The Elbe River ferry ride is also very close, making sightseeing extremely convenient.
Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, I highly recommend this property to travelers (solo and Family) visiting Dresden and would happily stay here again.
Point for improvement: During my stay, sometimes the lift was not working, which could be inconvenient, especially for guests with luggage or mobility concerns. Fixing this would further enhance an otherwise excellent experience.

Location. Was JUST what we wanted. Staff at checkin was friendly. Plenty of space for four people.
Twin beds in one room were saggy and need replacing. It would be nice if they included just one days coffee and tea. Towels were thin but did the job ok.

Because it was not at our apartment, a little difficult to find but once found was great!
Our arrival was difficult. Did not know where you were. Had to go up stairs with heavy suitcases. Room was not ready. Once we got to the room , found everything was fine. Don’t need cleaning daily but resupply of towels and toilet paper Kleenex would have been good! The floor needs some refinishing in room 404. Everything else looked great!

All it is like in the announcement. Maybe locating the reception is tricky, but the staying place is well located in the historic place center of Dresden.
More than I a critic, it is kind of a remark: for people who is used to "firm " mattresses it may be inconvenient the ones available. Mine was "too soft" and I ended with a bit difficulty when sleeping. However, as I explained, maybe it is a matter of taste or lumbar conditions.

The place is great for exploring the city. Well-equipped kitchen, good bed, fresh bed linen. Fortunately, there is a public parking lot very close by, where you can leave your car for free overnight. I can't judge the staff objectively - because I didn't meet anyone, but the instructions given were precise and useful.
