Wonderful
Nice, spacious and quiet room. Big comfortable double bed. The breakfast had a good variety and was tasty.
There were not enough chairs or sofas to sit. The sofa-bed was too small and uncomfortable for child.
We needed to wait in line for breakfast and also to cafe machine.

It was easy to reach without a car, everything was clean and the staff was absolutely lovely and helpful.
The bed wasn’t super comfortable and the pillow was super flat (sleeping without one would have led to the same results). Also the wifi barely ever worked.

Exceptional
Providing a fine studio type with a functional kitchen helps guest to get over the eating problem during the holidays. You can request an unlimited supply of sparkling water. The staffs tried hard to provide guests the kitchenwares and tablewares if you ask. Though the hostel management seems not prepared for the crowded situations.
The WiFi connection drops seems due to high occupations and holiday, the out-sourced network manager doesn’t work.

The hotel was good and the rooms nicely furbished. The staff was helpful and always available. Although we did not make use of it, they offer a nice breakfast buffet.
For sightseeing and culture, it is a little bit away from the historic center of Dresden. But we knew that before and we organized tickets for public transport, which has stops nearby.

Location of the hotel is good for both travel by car and public transport. You can walk in 15 min. to the Old City or you can jump on a city bus for 5 min travel. Public transportation is very frequent.
Bathroom is very small, sink is outside of the bathroom.

Great kitchen, bathroom. Very clean. Good breakfast, amazing location.
Sleep quality. For two nights the whole family slept poorly.
I was on the sofa bed which lacked a mattress so it was like sleeping on a concrete slab, a small uncomfortable pillow, a tiny single duvet barely able to cover a person...
Same things for the bedroom, tiny pillow, tiny duvet.
Walls are paper thin, you can hear children scream trough walls on the sides and stomling feom above from 7 am...
Wi-fi disconnects all the time.

Easiness of access with the bus station in front. Nice staff, easy check in and check out and free Christmas Punch.
The bed was too soft. I don't need an orthopedic-grade Mattress but the bed was not good and our sleep was affected. All in all not a good night of sleep. For the price I was hoping for some more comfort. We didn't ask for changing the room as we had a tight schedule and we didn't want to complicate our stay.

The room and amenities were pretty spacious and clean.
Staff was friendly and tried to help.
WiFi service was often not available which is a major issue for me personally. Sometimes WiFi was not working in my room but was still available in the lobby. Sometimes it was not available at all. Staff was aware of the situation and had procedures to mitigate the issue which not always worked. That makes me think I wasn't the first customer complaining about that issue. So, they knew about an existing problem and did not put enough efforts to fix it.

24/24 reception. Good position to reach by public transports. Quiet room. Rich breakfast. Clean.
Recommended.
Nothing relevant, but prevented me to assign a 9. I met 7/8 different people at the reception/breakfast. One half of them was welcoming and kind. The other half was rude and disappointing.
Finally, worse places gave me one bottle of water per day for free. In a place like this one, where there is no air conditioning, one bottle of water in a 3-night stay looks like a cheap move.

The location is very good, it's close to the bus stop and easy access to many places. The room was good.
