There‘s no alternative in the vicinity. My room looked to a park, quiet at night and fresh air. The breakfast is really good, and the Spa/Sauna aren‘t extensive but modern and the Sauna has a great park window. Staff, particularly at breakfast and spa, are really friendly.
Interior and exterior give a 90s vibe. Not bad but well … The restaurant isn‘t worth it imho, I highly recommend Überacker (a 3 min walk) for traditional Dortmund atmosphere and food, if you are into that.

Reception were friendly and helpful and room wa comfortable
Hotel bar was closed, redirected to the restaurant where staff were put out by us being there and unresponsive. We ate in the restaurant and food was average at best, which for the standard of hotel and cost was disappointing.

Room was clean and the property was unique. Parking was also easy.
Where do I start. I arrived at the hotel at night and had to wait for the reception to stop chatting with another employee outside to come check me in. Tired and ready to shower and go to sleep, I arrived at my room only to find that the shower head was not working. Overall, the room was also surprisingly small and not up to standard for the price that I paid for my stay. The pillows were incredibly uncomfortable, the AC was loud and inconsistent, and on my final night, the AC was making a constant loud screeching sound throughout the entire night, leading me to not get an hour of sleep before a long international flight.

The staff was very friendly, the room was big and spacious, the food in restaurant was pretty good. But the sauna area was our favourite with 2 sauna rooms with private outside view, plus a nice steam bath.

The location was good,the spa was small but nice
They made me decide by check in if I wanted breakfast and I wasn't sure about it. The next morning was ok the breakfast hat variety. I decided to take pancakes and they were as hard as old bread.
Also the smell in the rooms was a little strong and it smelled like an old man perfume.

We arrived much earlier than the check in time, but the staff was very helpful and managed to settle us in a room at 11am. The hotel itself is in a very quiet area, there is forest surrounding it, many paths to take a walk or have a bike ride. There are even bunnies running through the hotel garden. The area appears as a huge forest natural reserve, which is amazing. The room was clean and very spacious. The restaurant was the most delicious one I have personally visited in Germany. The spa is clean, the facilities are well constructed so even if you are not alone in the steam bath, for example, it doesn’t feel crowded at all. I would love to come back for a longer time with a bike or hiking boots and spend extra time in the nature.
There wasn’t a single thing not to like.

In meeting room X, the fountain and its music was annoying, but the personell took care of this immediately. The staff in the restaurant could have been nicer, with exception of the cook. A smile and being friendly should be the standard.
