Unfortunately, I was disappointed I traveled a long way for a doctor’s appointment and I wrote when I make the reservation that, my train will arrive late to Dortmund at 23:00 pm , so I will be in the hotel between (23:00-00:00), they took money from my account and when I arrived no employee was there to make check- in :( ... they should not accept the reservation if they can not offer this service....there is no transparency in communication and they are not professional. Also, at the outside door there is a paper with number and email of the hotel ...I called the numer when I arrived no body answer, I wrote an email the respond come that the email address is wrong and the name of hotel not Carlton?! :( ..... _______________________________________ [In other city and other hotel I wrote the arrival time maybe at 23:00 ,,and when I arrived I called the number of the hotel, the employee were responsible and professional so at 23:00 ,,the employee of the [hotel QR ] come and make( check_in) ]

Nothing.
Wasn’t able to get in. Wasn’t aware of the limited check-in time 12-8:30pm. When I arrived at 9:30 after a long day. I was met with a stainless steel door with a bit of paper taped to it saying check in was only 12-8:30pm Tried to call and there was one ring before line went dead. Email address was unrecognised and even when I messaged through booking.com I still have receiveded to answer.

Wonderful
This is an interesting place :), is cheap, clean and spacious, bathroom is just outside of the room, and the big plus which I appreciate they still had the heating on which so good after being outside in the cold for full day. Location is central next to train stations and area is full of bars and restaurants and people partying...and partying ?
Since so many people are enjoying their life outside, good luck getting a good sleep in the night! You can hear the teenagers screaming all night, lound and crispy, till around 5:30 am in the morning, and all the noise comes directly in the room through the wooden windows! So if they would change the windows to PVC the problem would be solve..that's the only disadvantage...

Very good location, in the heart of Dortmund. Clean room, friendly staff, we stayed for only one night, next day we were going to another city. the hotel was 5 min walk from railway station and flixbus stop

I booked 2 rooms with shared bathroom , in reality there 2 rooms on different floors with shared bathroom / toilet on the entire floor Not recommended for families or businesses
