Nice location and it was very clean
As I register for the check in, the guy who attended me was really disrespectful, I didnt put attention on the name, but I think the hotel should provide capacitation for the staff. The buffet is bad, the offer is quite limited.

Easy to reach by car, superb breakfast, modern soundproof rooms, kid stays for free.
I'd suggest to revise a parking fee: 12 euro per day probably is too much for a suburb, where a lot of free parking is available on the streets around.

Disappointing
I am writing to provide a recommendation for the Holiday Inn Express Dortmund with some reservations, particularly for families with young children. Positive aspects: Fair Location, amenities , breakfast, parking Overall: The Holiday Inn Express Dortmund may be suitable for some travelers, but families with young children might find the separate beds and room allocation practices inconvenient. Transparency and offering room options for families would be appreciated.
Negative aspects for families: Unaccommodating room setup: The beds were separate, making it difficult to sleep comfortably with a baby. This could be a significant drawback for families. It would be beneficial if the hotel could offer rooms with double beds specifically for families with young children. Inconsistent room allocation: During check-in, we (a family with a baby) received separate beds while our friends (traveling without children) were assigned a double bed. Potentially misleading information: We were told the hotel was fully booked and unable to offer a different room, but upon further inquiry, we discovered this might not have been accurate.
