The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. Although the room faces the main street the windows were soundproof and overall the room was quiet.
Practically no Internet was available in the room - neither the "free" nor the "fast".
This caused me a great inconvenience as I had to take customer-facing calls either in the lobby (where the Internet was ok) or use my personal limited data plan to get online.
Our room was "skipped" cleaning a number of times, and even when it was cleaned, no clean towels or water bottle were left.
Given the above, no hotel management did not attempt to fix nor compensate us in any way.

Room pretty basic but comfortable. Room was not prepared for the number of people. Next day again - not enough towels. Long Q for reception every time we needed something. Staff was helpful.

Very Expensive. No breakfast included in €235 per night room, breakfast extra €30 pp. This is Cologne (Köln) not New York.
TV remote not working from 1st night but no response from reception.
Discoloured bedlinen, thin worn towels. No slippers. No shower cap. No bathrobes. No minibar. 4 clothes hangers.
This was sold as a Superior Deluxe Double room - extremely disappointing.

The location is great, sub way station and tram stations very close by and also shopping cafes and restaurants.
Room is small but OK, the desk and chair was great to do some stuff on the laptop.
Staff was friendly, cleaning stuff was friendly.
As someone that always travels, this was the first time that I could not get a cable into the HDMI cable, TV is boxed in and I didn't want to hard to get there.
As you want to put your Firestick in there to watch TV from your country or your usual stuff in your language.
The aircon on a hot day is not cutting it.

This is not the first time I have stayed at this hotel and I was once again very impressed. The hotel is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants, bars and public transport links. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is excellent, with a huge choice on offer. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The wifi in the room was a bit hit and miss, dropping out quite regularly. I found the best way to keep it was to sit on the uncomfortable side shelf near the door, as sitting on the comfy seats by the window the wifi would not last very long.

There was a nice Lobby area and lounge.
It seemed dirty in the bathroom and the carpet in the hallways. The door and trim in the bathroom needed replacing and the towels were scratchy and not nice and plush and they had no facecloths.

Bathtub Shower was dangerous and I fell getting in the first day. When cleaning room used coffee cups were not taken out. Coffee Machine did not work
