Bed was nice
Bathroom too small, shower too small. Tap could be moved to hot or cold just by trying to shower. Hair dryer was dangerous as the old coiled cord had been cut and wires were protected only with electrical tape. New hair dryer was placed in the old base but the old base was still live. Not safe.

The breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. There was a continuous replenishment of everything.

Great location for visiting both Koln and Bonn by train. We also found the riverside which was lovely for an evening stroll and drink. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Basic hotel but good value for money all things considered.
Opening the bedroom window directly above the door to the bar meant that the cigarette smoke drifted in. Bathroom very small.

Easy to find and good parking opposite...various shops and bars within minutes of the hotel. 3rd visit and will keep returning

Check in was adequate. Staff were helpful. Bar downstairs was ok.
Very little sound-proofing in the hotel. The cleaning staff were very noisy and talked very loud. Not a good hotel if you fancy a late sleep. No breakfast available on Monday morning even though it was supposed to be included.

The hotel check-in starts at 2 pm. We arrived at the hotel already at 10 am. and asked for a place to leave our luggage. They quickly cleaned our rooms and we got them several hours before the check-in time. Very nice. The food at the hotel restaurant was quite ok.
Our rooms were not cleaned properly during the week. Only the towels were changed. By the end of the week, the floor already felt quite dirty. The drain in the shower did not work properly and the floor was flooded with water. We told the reception about it, but nothing was done about it. Taking a shower was really unpleasant when there was a 20 cm layer of soapy water on the shower cabin. On the Booking.com website, it says that breakfast is at 8. We confirmed this with the hotel before the trip. However, the breakfast room was still locked at 8 am. We waited for twenty minutes and then we had to go elsewhere for breakfast due to our busy schedule. We heard from other guests that they had had the same problem. We received a refund of only 5 euros/person for the pre-paid breakfast. We found the hotel a bit too far away from the city centre (main train station) although the public transport worked fine.
