We really loved everything. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and was perfectly decorated for Christmas. The location was amazing very close to the Christmas market, which was exactly why we came. The spa was small but very cozy. And we were honestly shocked (in a good way!) when they even cleaned our car while it was parked. it was such a nice and thoughtful surprise.
When the receptionist asked us some questions, we sometimes didn’t know how to answer because we had never been asked such questions before, and she looked at us in a way that made us feel a bit uncomfortable.

Very lovely hotel near to the center, you have everything in walking distance. The hotel itself is very modern and clean and has a sleek look. Staff is friendly and helpful. We even got a free upgrade from superior appartment to a penthouse which was super nice. Beds and bathroom were amazing! Thanks for this!

This hotel was not at all what I was expecting or hoping for. As two friends, traveling together to visit Christmas markets, we were a bit shocked to walk into the Savoy. It felt a lot like walking into a brothel. It is clean and attempts to be luxurious, but serious key elements for a luxury hotel are missing, which I will get into in the "do not like" section. Overall, it is a clean place to stay if you are looking for a partner, or partner seeking partner, experience.
For 400 Euro a night, I expect coffee or tea in my room, even if self prepared. I also expect more than one single towel per person. I expect a bath that can actually be filled or a shower that does more than trickle. I expect a "spa" hotel to have a spa that stays open more than 4 hours a day. (The spa is only open from 5-9pm.) I expect a 4 start hotel with bar/restaurant to serve more than one item on the menu for food. It was a bad attempt at trying to be a luxury hotel and instead being a high end brothel.

Location is great - walking distance from the station. The hotel was very maximalist. Upgraded room was a big bonus. Wish I could have stayed longer.
I found the indoor areas of the hotel (hallways, etc.) very warm. Breakfast was expensive (ca. €30).

The rooftop bar was a nice surprise, the quality of the room was excellent, and the breakfast was good quality too. Staff spoke good English and were really helpful. The gym was also good. Location close to the railway station also a bonus.

They offered breakfast without noting that it cost extra, and it was not worth the €39 price.

Really good location, easily accessible to main areas/cathedral etc. Staff were very friendly.
Extremely overpriced for the quality of hotel and amenities, charging 5star prices for 3 star rooms. 1st room had broken aircon and had to be requested to be moved, the only available other room had carpark view and the aircon was working but temperamental. The room decor/lifts etc were quite outdated although the lobby area is nice. Nonetheless, when paying over £300 per night, this is not the quality one would expect.

Very trendy hotel just a few minutes walk away from the Dome of Cologne. A bit on the pricier side but for a nice fun weekend in the city it is well worth it.

The hotel itself is very nice and the staff were great. Room was very nice and well designed.
However, the skybar was closed, so no sunset cocktails. I would have booked elsewhere if I had known this. The food options were basically non existent , 4 appetisers including 1 soup and 1 salad, then 4 flammkuchen options....
