Convenient central location with everything you need for a short stay. Parking in the building was useful. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
The apartment was always a little too warm, even though the heating in the main room was off. We were told we could leave our keys in the room when we checked out, but then we found that we couldn't get into the parking garage to get our car as you need a key for that. Fortunately for us, some residents arrived after about 5 minutes and let us into the parking garage. IF YOU ARE USING THE PARKING GARAGE; DO NOT LEAVE YOUR KEY IN THE ROOM AT CHECK OUT:

Great view to the river Rhein. Good location in the middle of Rodenkirchen. Nice balcony for the summer.
Drinks crates as a bedside table! Interieur and bathroom in the style of the 90s.

I enjoyed the view on the Rhein & calm surroundings. In the building in front of the terrace seems to be offices. It means that whenever the door to the terrace is open singing birds are to be heard, next to sometimes the sound of ships going up and down the river. Very calming area.
The staff was helpful and reactive. Easy check out with no contact. The keys were to be left on the dining table and the apartment door to be shut. I found this very convenient. Thank you for the help during the stay.
On the second day I kept on turning on the heather up, until the maximum, and still it didn't warm up. I decided to reach the reception and asked for a mini electric heather. It was almost immediately afterwards placed in the room. I was also given the opportunity to switch rooms if the warmth wouldn't feel sufficient to me.
I deeply appreciated the reactivity of the staff in this situation. Nevertheless I got to know that the heather of the appartment I was staying at solely relied on the heating of the one next door which means that if the other one isn't on the heating of the apartment rented out/ assigned to me would simply never jump on either.
All in all I got enough warm with the electric heater, although I would have appreciated if it would have been at my disposal since day 1 and not having to arrange it during the stay...
Also keep in mind that the service around the rented apartments takes place from Villahotel, 750m from there.
No hassle, but whenever something like mentioned above pops up you'll have to reach them physically in order to get answers.
The last morning a plumbing noise of approximately 5 seconds, coming from the same next doors' appartment at the level of the bathroom, went on from 7 am until around 10am, this every minute or so. It honestly kind of made me feel insane.
At that moment I would have deeply enjoyed being able to reach them directly from the apartment, or at least someone in the same building. Since I was checking out the same day I simply left it going. It is a bit of a shame that situations like these can't get arranged more easily.
A simple, international free option as one whatssap number at the hotel reception could, according to me, really make a difference here.
(When I went to Villahotel for the heating situation the receptionist was kind enough to hand out his personal whatsapp number and told me he could be reached until 10pm the same day.
