We had a very nice and spacious room, we had to be in Lanxess Arena every day for workshops so the position of the hotel was excellent. Easy walk every morning to Lanxess hotel. My husband complained about the toilet seat and although he had to remind them a second time, it got fixed.
Their service is not consistent. Some days we got complimentary water, other days we did not. You can also not see when any of the soaps are finished because they are in solid bottles, so we had one day when there was no body wash soap and luckily it was our last day, and we had brought our own soap because if it was like the toilet, it might have taken 2 days for it to be refilled.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Lovely smelling toiletries in the bathroom. Staff really friendly and helpful. Parking easy. An easy walk into the town. Lovely breakfast!

Good location near Deutz-Bahnhoff. The hotel is very clean, our room was very spatious. The bed is really very comfortable and die douvets are high quality. This time we didn't have time to eat breakfast, but radisson usually has really good breakfast.

I booked for 3 nights with my daughter because of the Amphifest. The hotel is approx. 20 minutes walk from the station Messe/Deutz. Downstairs is a small snack bar with fruit, sweets and infused water. There is a small kiosk in the hotel on the ground floor for further snacks. The rooms are beautifully designed with a large working surface. They actually have a decent hairdryer as compared to other hotels I've been to.
To shower you need to step into the bath as it is a two in one design. Being over 60 I did find it awkward but I managed. Parking space is very limited.

The location for any event at Koelnmesse is impeccable. The lobby is stylish and grand and the reception area is delightful with a coffee machine, water, sweets and apples and in our case also a fridge with energy drinks due to the nature of the event. There was always ample space in the bar area, the garage was very easy to use and we had no issue having a space while we were there.
The AC in the room was the only downside. We did not manage to switch it off and it kept raising it's fan level. We may have been able to ask at the front desk to have it turned off, but in the end we decided to leave in the middle of the night of our last night as I had already ended up with a cold from the first night in the room.

Location & staff were good.
When I turned off the air conditioner, there were some strange, high volume sounds coming from it. It was like tak! tok! They were sudden sounds which blocked me from falling asleep. I waited for it to pass but it didn't. So I changed the air conditioner settings and tried which setting would stop the sounds. Only setting that stopped the sound was the very cold temperature and very high intensity blowing one. It took me 1 hour to figured it out. Afterwards, there were no sounds but the room was extremely cold. I am a person who likes cold but that one was a bit much. So you have to make your decision between getting cold or hearing sudden high volume sounds that frightens you. Choose wisely!
I ordered 2 sweet potato fries from the room service. When they came, they were cold. I called the restaurant again and they claimed that the fries were fresh and just finished. Believe me they were not as hot as they claimed. They said they would send a guy to take them and heat them again. I waited for 1 hour but nobody came, then I went out to eat something. Helplessly waiting for 1 hour while I was hungry was not expected.
