Over the years the staff have just got worse and worse, trying to get a invoice for your stay is hard work and I’ve had this issue a couple times before but now I’ve got to the point that I’ve cancel all further stays

Very good location.
We booked a "Queen" room at the hotel, which looked very decorative in the photos. Instead, we got a so-called double bed pushed together with 2 daybeds, a nightstand, bare white walls, torn curtains, a desk, the whole room looked like a dorm room. We spoke to the reception, where we were informed that they couldn't give us another room right now, we would bring our luggage down tomorrow morning, and after the room was cleaned, we could occupy the other room in the afternoon, but it wouldn't be any different. It wasn't nicer or more comfortable. So we gave up on this option. It was a terrible disappointment, in terms of value for money we really didn't get what we paid for.

Very friendly staff , they spoke good English . German Breakfast was nice and staff were on hand to make sure everything was in order . Bedroom was clean and whole experience was very good value for money and would stay again if in köln.
Tv remote needed new batteries but not a big deal as didn’t watch tv and probably could have asked reception if we wanted to.
