Breakfast was by far the best thing about the hotel. Overall very clean and children-friendly, with a lot of nice bonus facilities like the gym and sauna, inner court and large lounge + bar/restaurant. Very clean, even though changing the sheets was not respected according to the provided cards.
The only "incident" was changing the sheets: the hotel is environment friendly and thus has these cards you can hang on the door/place on the bed to indicate whether you want the sheets/towels changed. This wasn't always respected, but when talking to the reception, they kindly solved the problem for us.

Great location. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. We received a friendly and informative email in advance of arriving and this was followed by a warm welcome on arrival, and equally friendly and engaging staff as we left. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. A fabulous stay and we will definitely return when we are next in Koln.

The breakfast at this hotel is always a highlight since you have this interesting pancake machine. I think that alone is already worth staying at your hotel. But your selection of food and drinks for breakfast is really great. The room was clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and very helpful. And the location was perfect for our needs, as we love the old town and it was a walking distance to the old town.
