This is my second stay at this hotel, and I’m still very happy with it. Everything is clean and well maintained, and the bed is very comfortable, at least for me. Overall, I really enjoy staying here and would happily come back again.

I stayed with another person and we arrived at different times. The staff kept keys for her and let her in after checking her passport against a name I gave them. . They also changed rooms from double to twin beds without making a fuzz. Customer oriented, understanding the circumstances and helping as they can - much appreciated!
Pillows , however it's an issue with all hotels I've been to. Can't expect memory foam...

Very Good
We stayed at NH Koln Altstadt in the month of August 2026. Overall, the hotel is good. The breakfast was good and the room was pretty big. The location is very near to the old town of Cologne, like a 10 minutes walk along the Rhine river. But some things which I found a little off was this hotel has more of a three-star feel, as there is no interiors done in the common spaces near to lifts. It's plain and blank. Normally for a four-star hotel, it's always well decked up. Also, the man at the reception I think, was not supposed to be there. He was just doing somebody else's duty. But the ladies were perfectly fine, who were dealing with guests' check-in. On the app, you can book daily cleaning at a particular time slot, which I did.
The cleaning service was not that great as I could see small hair here and there in the bathroom after I checked in.

The staff we extremely courteous and accommodating. The room was very clean. The location is very good and most city attractions are within 10-30 minutes walking distance. The facilities were great, especially the parking.
