The buffet breakfast ( at extra cost) was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. It took us about 20 mins to walk to the main railway station otherwise the metro is only 5mins away. The cathederal is 20min walk

Airconditioning wasn't working (properly). Unfortunately it got hot in the room and opening the window wasn't really an option due to the busy road noise. Furthermore, the room was incredibly dusty. Not what you would expect from a hotel in this price category.

Not too far from the train station (10 to 15 minute walk) and great location for eating out as plenty of restaurants and shopping areas and Cologne cathedral at the end of the walk so rewarding walk at the end of it and hotel was great value for money.

Location and staff helpfulness. The digital fishtank was a nice greeting.
I couldn't seem to get the air conditioner to work, but opening the window was enough most of the time.

The front desk staff was very nice. The breakfast was delicious.
On the morning of my checkout day, I was shocked and disturbed when a housekeeping staff member entered my room twice without knocking — once around 9:00 AM and again at 10:00 AM. I was still inside the room, and my keycard was inserted, clearly indicating the room was occupied. No apology or explanation was given. When I went out to ask, the staff member said “nothing happened” . As a solo female traveler with anxiety disorder, this incident caused me severe stress. For nearly €300 per night, I expected much better safety and professionalism. I would not recommend this hotel to solo female travelers or anyone who values privacy.
