Borderline Illegal and Indifferent Behaviour towards customers.
If you want to double pay for your stay (1 time in booking.com and also 1 time again in the hotel) it is perfect.
Seriously. Find something else. The staff tries to be polite but the management is seriously incompetent and cannot resolve a simple situation, because they simply dont care.
Paid from booking.com and they asked again for money at the counter during checkin and checkout.

The breakfast is excellent, has a variety of choice
Room services is extremely bad, My room was not cleaned and tided up for 2 days. I have repeatedly asked the reception to remind them to clean my room. But the third night I came back from the show, the room was still the same, rubbish in the dusbin is full, no clean towel. I was forced to go to the reception to ask for towel and water. This destroyed the image of the hotel. Please pay attention to this ! Otherwise, this affect the whole hotel rating.

The staff started to recognize me right away during my stay and went above most days having ice ready for my water needs and anytime I had a question - they were quick to provide assistance.
The listing stated the room had Air Conditioning - and due to the weather being warm during our visit - the room was ALWAYS warm. The A/C in the room did little more than move the hot air around. So sleeping wasn't ideal. Also, the refrigerator in our room never actually cooled anything - it barely could keep things less than warm. Add in the sewer smell due to the warm weather and open sewer vent next to the toilet - I've had better experiences. This is first trip to Europe, so maybe this is common - just not what I was expecting.

The location was a big advantage when the city center ant the main station are pretty close. A lot of different facilities in the near as well. The cleanliness was on point and the staff super friendly.
The only disadvantage was that the rooms didin’t have shampoo or conditioner, everything else was good.

I didn't spent the night in the hotel because I had a flight at night so earlier check in was possible the stuff gave me one of the silent rooms and it was important for me, thanks for providing that. The access between the car park and the hotel was so good, even the doors open when you come nearby them, perfect when your hands are full :)
It would be nice to have some shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

Housekeeping was terrible. On two occasions we had no mugs to make tea, on one occasion. I had no tea. And I had to wash up mugs and wine glasses as they were not cleaned at room service

Large, well decorated comfortable rooms. Good work/desk area. Heating works well. Very friendly staff. Classic Cologne neighborhood; residential area with lots of shops and nightlife.
Nothing. You should try to get a room that is not facing the innercity express way. But you won't hear anything as long as the windows are closed.
