Breakfast was really good and he people working at the restaurant were pretty friendly. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of our stay.
Unfortunately, that was the highlight of our stay. The hotel does not offer a laundry service and there was no complimentary bottled water provided. From the first day, the room floor was dusty, and we found some trash left in a corner. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, similar to sewage.
On our last night, a large Arab family occupying two or three nearby rooms caused significant disturbance. After 9:00 pm there was constant noise, including doors slamming, loud conversations in the hallway, and children running and playing until almost 1:00 am, making it very difficult to rest. During the same night, we were unable to use the heating system because it is connected through a shared air duct, and a strong smell of cigarette smoke entered our room. We are fairly certain the smoke was coming from the same family smoking inside their room(s).

I love this hotel. We only spent one night and had dinner and breakfast. The food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and they had the sofa bed ready and made for our children. Our kids really enjoyed there time in the pool. Would definitely recommend.

Nice, comfortable hotel, with a pool, small fitness room and sauna. Good for a stopover during a road trip (not far from the highway). Shops near the hotel. Cologne city not far from the hotel.

Location and parking ,the room was clean
The pool ok and the sauna .Breakfast was fantastic,there’s a variety of food one can’t fail to find what to eat.
I was in room 214 the neighbouring room I guess 216 when one is in the bathroom we were hearing them bathing or flashing the Toilet .
The carbons in the ladies dressing side by the pool they need to be replaced .

We were only there for one night. We took a family room. Everything was clean, staff were helpful, and we liked that there was a huge supermarket close by. Uber found the hotel easily to take us downtown. There was good safe parking for our car. It was nice to have a kettle in the room for our tea and/or coffee.
For the price, breakfast could have been included with the room. We are members, but went through the Booking site.

Our boys loved the little pool. The girl at check-out was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located beside the 7 tram line which is great for getting to the city centre in about 20 minutes from Marsdorf stop which is 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. We were easily able to transfer in Newmarkt station or other nearby stations to go to Phantasialand, the Zoo and Aqualand ( all great). The breakfast was a highlight of the trip. Healthy choices of chopped fruit, bircher and chia coconut pudding. The usual fresh bread, buns, croissants etc and hot and cold meats. Our kids loved the pancakes and working the honey/ chocolate dispensers. Good coffee machines . Staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool is small but we had great fun in it with the kids. It was very popular with lots of use by guests. The hotel has a water dispenser in reception (still water and with gas/sparkling). This was great for filling up in the morning before heading out as bottled water is expensive in places like Phantasialand.
The TV in our room does not let you cast from your phone. The channels are all German understandably enough apart from news channels. It would have been great for the kids to watch something in English and casting from phone is an easy solution. I asked at reception and the person said it couldn't be done.

Great value for money! Wellness facilities are good and staff are friendly.
Rooms are a bit small and outdated. The bathroom door makes a squeaky sound that could wake up entire family in the middle of the night when visiting the loo.

The only good thing was that there were grocery stores nearby so we could buy something of a higher quality to eat. The food in the hotel is not ok
The food in the hotel is mostly fried. There is supposedly a spa, but the sauna was almost non-functional. We used it twice in 5 days, and the water in the pool was cold.

Horrible!!! Had to change 2 rooms and waste time. The rooms are not badly furnished, but the sheets were not changed, they were just straightened out after the previous guests! The toilet was also not cleaned! The rooms are cleaned very poorly and it is not comfortable to be in such conditions! The price and quality do not match the result! Not recommended stay here!
