Room was clean, beds comfortable, breakfast was good. Spa was ok. You don't have to reserve it. It's open up to 10 pm. Sauna is nude.
Location is a bit far from city center, but it has access to tram. The day that I arrived tram didn't work.

really bad service! 8:50 I was sleeping in the room. Someone entered in to my room without only one second knock in. As confirmed by the reception, this man is the cleaning staff(but not belong to the hotel) As I complained to the reception, no one responses me until I checked out. When I checked out in 10:30, I complained to the reception again. The reception man uses a really bad attitude and says sorry to me. It seems like I was doing something wrong and he was angry at me. To be honest, I only want a formal apology. But the reception said fake sorry and nothing with a really bad attitude! Please imagine, with such staff, how can you sleep safely and leave personal things without worry in this hotel. The bad reception in this hotel make me lose confidence in this hotel and the Accor group. I would complain to the group and I would suggest my friends and colleagues never order this hotel. If you want to have a bad mood during travel, please come to this hotel! By the way, the cleaning of the room is not so good. I found the kettle in the room have some water left which looks disgusting and dirty. I had to ask the reception for a new kettle.

The location was in a very quiet safe town- u nfortunately, it was further out from Kln than we thought and as we were on our way there, I wondered if a hotel would truly be anywhere in sight of the sleepy town!
I just wish we didn't have to book 3 rooms, but rather 2. (We have two adults, five kids).

The bed was comfortable and the room had a good view and light. Bath tub was a plus. I had to leave the hotel 1 day earlier before my reservation end and they accepted to pay me back for that 1 night, that was very kind.
Very far away from the city centre... The hotel could not provide slippers so I had to buy. I did not want to order food to my room after I found out +6 euro charge for the service. There were no equipment avilable in the room for ironing. There were no sign that breakfast is not included.

Excellent location as we could easily take a tram to the city of Cologne. As with all Mercure hotels the standard was up to scratch and we felt looked after.

The staff was competent and very friendly. The location close to A1 highway was convenient. Breakfasts were tasty. The swimming pool was clean and availably early morning. The room was good enough for a one night stay.
The room seemed small, dark and decorated in depressing greys. Everything looked old and shabby - not matching the **** pricing. The bathroom was particularly small, it was very difficult to enter the bathtub. But the worst was the air-conditioning - barely working (so the temperature in the room exceeded 24 degrees), and releasing unpleasant smell at times.
