Wonderful
The kitchen was open 24 hrs. That was the biggest blessing
The train station was a bit far way, about 12 minutes walk although a bus stop was right in front.

This was our favorite Meininger that we visited on our trip! The room was very spacious and the 24 hour bar was a great touch.
The only two downsides from this Meininger were our troubles with the washer/dryers and it would've been nice for the location to be a tad closer to the city. Although it was close to the main part of Koln, it was just far enough where it would take a while to walk. The washers and dryers used the We Wash app and only 1 set out of the 2 were working. The dryer left all of our clothes still wet as well

This was such a good hostel experience, it was spotlessly clean, spacious and had a huge bathroom! Definitely the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The downstairs area is super chill and has plenty of space to relax, the kitchen looked really well equipped although I didn't use it. There is a fantastic supermarket right next door with anything you might need. I would absolutely stay with this brand again.

We had an issue with the AC in our bedroom, and the staff was quick to try to resolve it. When the problem couldn’t be fixed, they kindly moved us to another room. Everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. The location is a little far from downtown, but the tram station is only about a 500-meter walk away, making it easy to get around. There is also a supermarket downstairs, and the neighborhood feels safe and pleasant. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
No mini fridge in the bedroom - it would be great to have one

Disappointing
The open cafeteria in entrance floor is nice, surrounding neighborhood is also quiet and tidy.
1. A bit distance from the nearest S-Bahn station and tram station, while the connection bus is not working during the weenends. 2. I saw a cacoroach on my towel in the room at the 3rd night I stay there. Unbeliveable. 3. I didn't locked my own closet at the cuz I think there is nothing vaulable to protect. BUT, someone did opened it during daytime when I'm out. It makes me doubt about the staff quality here.

Maybe the fact that they didn't mention they are card only, the night I arrived I couldn't pay because of lack of money in my card and booked here with this assumption that they accept cash, although I put the blame on me but it would have been nice if they accepted cash
