Disappointing
The one male bartender
this was only the second time in the last three years I have been travelling every month all over the world that I felt discriminated for being a booking.com customer. I was placed into a room in another building having to pull my suitcase around three blocks in the rain, next to a room under construction with rotor hammers. Thursday and Friday was impossible to be in the room during working hours. The woman checking me in was not friendly at all, nor did I see any employee smile in four days. The sauna attendant were very unfriendly and one of them even talked to me in a very condescending way when I asked him a question about sauna rules. The only employee ever saying hello were the women at breakfast yelling good morning at you to get your attention to find out your room number. There might have been ten different saunas at this place but only three were operating. The area around the outside pool hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

The rooms were a great size and very comfortable. The location was fantastic as we could get around either on foot or via public transport.
Parking was very limited - ended up using a car park 10 mins walk away. We couldn't use the swimming pool as my youngest son didn't meet the age requirement (he's 9). The additional electricity charge - which is a fixed price - should just be incorporated into the room charge.

The breakfasts were perfekt, everywhere clean, good service.
The room is missing clothes hangers, the lights were damaged, apparently people put their coats on them and that caused the damage.

Nice large rooms, nice bathroom, minifridge, spa was a great perk. Location was good as it was a 5-10 minute walk to the Belgium quarter with tons of bars and restaurants.
Beds were not comfortable. No air conditioning so it was relatively hot even with the windows open in October. Could use a better tv stand/location for the tv.

Very big and well equipped room for 3persons. Everything clean, new and beatiful. A pitty that we could not enjoy the pool and the thermes&spa. Next time!
In the check in the receptionist was simply too cold. No welcome, no smile, just the minimum. First time we have such a welcome in a hotel. The other receptionist and specially the one who I think was the manager (the not so young one) were nice and ok. We did not like the charge for electricity of around 25eur for 3 nights. First time we see this.
