The bathtub is slippery and my wife slipped when she was leaving it. Hopefully nothing bad happened but it's dangerous for people with less mobility

Staff, location close to the center with the view on the river, the SPA. The food at breakfast. The style of the building. It is a must-choose hotel if you want to visit Köln. They even had little treats for the guests at the reception such as little chocolates or apples.
One of the lifts was inaccessible because it was under restoration. The sweet part of the breakfast could be improved a bit, but was decent. There was a sink smell in the room initially, which quickly disappeared once we used it and opened the windows.

Location
Breakfast was expensive and pretty mediocre. Long queues for lifts as one out of action for weeks apparently now. Outside company given housekeeping contract and it's not working meaning loads of people waiting up to 3 hours to get into their room. Second day told reception at 1 pm that room still not made up. 4.30 p.m. Still not done. Back to reception and eventually done at 5.30 and not very well at all. Cleaning service not up to standard. Worst croissants ever just warmed up ones and totally disorganised

Lovely hotel in a great location.Xmas market right outside.Decorated beautiful for Xmas.Bar area was great.We only stayed one night as checked out early from a different hotel we wasn't happy with.
The heating in the room wasn't great,it still felt cold during the night.

The location and the bar area
We paid for a premium room but it wasn't cleaned or tidied which i would have expected. Airport transfer was included in the price but the driver had left without telling us despite a previous telephone conversation informing him about delays at passport control. Also, the booking was advertised as having free airport transfer which I wrongly assumed would be both ways as it's likely for us to need to return home after our stay.

Location, pool and the piano bar (disappointed it was only open 1 night out of 3)
Breakfast,was cold,.but ok in the larger dinning room. Staff helpful and moved us to there. Didn't like that they closed the piano bar for private functions and then it was closed the following night.
