Excellent location for Rhine cruising and vibrant restaurant area and a short walk for some of the best sites in Köln. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient.

Reception service. One thing I did like was that the room had a refrigerator and proper glass drinking glasses, which was a nice touch.
The hotel looks much better in the photos. In reality, it is very old-fashioned, and I felt like I had stepped back into the 1970s or 1980s. The smell in the room was unpleasant — it smelled old and musty, as if the room had been closed up for a long time. The swimming pool is located right next to the reception area and has windows overlooking it, so people in the lobby can see you while you are in the pool. From the pool area, you can also see people who are naked in the sauna, which I found quite uncomfortable. The hotel advertises that it has parking, but the parking is not actually part of the hotel. You have to pay an additional €32 per day, which makes the stay considerably more expensive than you might expect.

Lovely convenient location few minute walk away from the cathedral, right in the middle of town! Pool and Spa is open till late!
Ordered food from the kitchen received the wrong food, it was also really horrible and we couldn’t eat it. I was told I still had to pay even though I didn’t eat it. Luckily the staff member I complained to in the morning removed the food off the bill. Chef should be fired for putting taco sauce on a burger

Room was very clean with plenty of room for the three of us. Good bathroom, very impressed with the shower. Mini fridge was very useful. Good location, a few minutes walk from restaurants, the river and the chocolate museum. Aircon good. Did not have time to use onsite restaurants or the pool.

location was amazing. it was the main reason for choosing this hotel. It is 10 minutes walk to the main center. I did not use any transportation. The breakfast was good, the sauna was good.
It is very outdated hotel that needs a renovation. Most of staff are not very friendly, early check in was not possible and we waited for the room to be ready for 1 hour, although informing the hotel before that we were arriving at 2 pm (which is not really an early check in). The problem was that the receptionist lady told me "you arrived too early" this was not what I expected as a reply to my request. She seemed not willing to make us check before it came 3 pm, this was what I felt. Housekeeping guy entered my room on first day after 1 second from knocking without waiting for my permission. he claimed he wanted to check that the connected rooms door is opened, which could have been checked easily by phone.
