The airport shuttle was excellent. The driver was on time for me and helpful to me with my baggage. The room was very basic and disappointing. There was no bottled still water and very minimal ammenities-for example no shower cap, no tissues. The room was very tired, worn, dim, dissmal and dated. The carpet and drapes need renewing.The lighting was extremely poor and posed a safety concern as it was very difficult to see,read or be conscious of trip/fall hazards even when all lights were switched on.

A solid 3 star type hotel for package vacationers or IT or Skilled workers. Outstanding breakfast, good restaurant. Solid furniture but little water pressure in shower no walk in- instead a narrow bathtub (thus mostly unusable) with only a partial door that does not block all water. Mini bar was empty, but a complimentary bottle of sparkling water was given. No carpet on floors so cold in winter - but perhaps better for summer travelers. Solid bed and Ikea type furniture, but not a four star executive type hotel
An Airport hotel, but taxi needed to arrive, no shuttle, would be better placed directly at the terminal. A solid workers hotel - but not an 'executive level' four star type

I found the hotel to offer a decent value for money overall. Despite being located right next to the airport, it is still reasonably close to Cologne's city center when travelling by car, which makes it convenient. The hotel itself is large and comfortable, with good facilities, and breakfast was acceptable, nothing exceptional, but good to start the day.
Upon arrival, the room allocation was incorrect. I had booked two rooms, one single and one double, and the receptionist did not notice this. My partner and I were given the single room, which was clearly prepared for only one guest (single bed, one pillow, one towel), while my friend’s room was prepared for two. This created an unnecessary inconvenience at check-in.
Additionally, the double room we eventually moved into had a strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom. Even after cleaning, the smell persisted, including after the following day’s housekeeping. The bathroom was also an accessible, adapted bathroom, which, while important for guests who need it, was not an ideal setup for us.

Big room, couple minutes away from airport. Above all, thanks to the reception and the shuttle bus staff that picked me and brought me extra to the train station in the airport in night time, even these type of bookings normally include only pick up and drop off to airport.
Even it was a non smoking room, the room smelled of smoke quite a lot.

Information on best way to get from the airport. I ended up walking, which proved challenging even with Google maps.

Being an airport hotel it was very convenient to travel to Kohln - ANUGA exhibition daily , and the shuttle was always available to pick us and drop us back

It was very close to the airport. We arrived there by FlixBus and then the hotel arranged shuttle to pick us up and drop off the next day for our flight. I liked shuttles being quite frequent ~every 15 mins during the day if I remember correctly. They also arrange shuttles for late night/early morning flights. Definitely a stay for these kind of instances.
Room was also big and enough for a short stay.
There is no shuttle to the city center. Be careful on managing expectations when you are booking the hotel.
Breakfast was okayish. Could have been better.

The room was clean and comfortable. Shuttle service works on time and very convenient. It's very helpful especially if you have flight in odd times.
Location is far from city which if you're planning to visit Cologne in detail, it won't be applicable to you.

The coffee maker was filthy, wanted to make a coffee in the morning but the water container was dirty decided not to take a risk. The check in took very long, there was only one member of staff present
