Everything met my needs.
The Wi-Fi is pretty bad and having to get a new code every day, my only complaint. And I wish the lights didn’t blast on automatically in the bathroom at night when you’re trying to stay asleep.. but that’s a small thing

Subject: Feedback on My Stay at Jugendherberge City-Hostel Köln-Riehl Dear Team, My stay at the hostel was unfortunately not satisfactory. The environment was very noisy, especially at night — children were running in the hallways and knocking on doors, making it difficult to sleep or rest. Because of this situation, I decided to leave the hostel on October 29, two days earlier than planned, which caused me to lose two paid nights. However, I would like to mention that the reception staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay. The location was also quite far from Koelnmesse, which made daily travel difficult. I hope the management will take steps to improve guest comfort and ensure a quieter environment in the future. Best regards, Muhammad Tanveer

The location is great, breakfast is tasty, and the rooms are very good.
I didn’t have a good experience at this hostel. The location is great, breakfast is tasty, and the rooms are very good, but my check-in experience was terrible. I arrived around 11:30 p.m., and there was no receptionist, only a security guard at the entrance. Even after showing my booking confirmation in the app and explaining the conversation I had with a receptionist prior to my arrival, the security guard confirmed that my reservation didn't exist but said he couldn’t do anything to help. I honestly don’t understand this. In the end, I had to pay extra just to access my room. This whole situation was extremely frustrating and ruined part of my trip. The next day, I was able to get a refund and continue my stay, but the stress and inconvenience could have been avoided. I strongly advise double-checking your reservation before arriving, especially if you’re checking in late at night. After 11:30 p.m., there may be no receptionist available, which could lead to major problems.

Wonderful
The check-in and check-out process was exceptionally quick and easy, and the staff were really great and helpful. We loved chill vibes at the hostel and, although it was quite busy with school kids and students, it was surprisingly quiet and calm during the night. The room was clean, no complaints about the bathroom (bit outdated and modest, but clean and fully functional).
My only complaint is that I think the breakfast lacked variety, e.g. there was only one or two types of fruit, eggs only the last two days.

Responsive personel on the booking chat, location, building facilities, very clean, comfortable bed, very good breakfast buffet type with different kinds of cheese, different kinds of ham, bread, butter, different jams, vegetables, fruits, yogurts, milk, tea, coffe machines for all kinds of coffees and hot chocolate.

Everything was very nice and clean, I couldn’t find anything I don’t like. If I’m going to go to Klön again, I’ll definitely choose here again. Usually you need to charge a bit for female room, but here just separated without charging more, and even included nice breakfast. Not far from the city center.
