Good value for money for a short stay and location when attending events at LANXESS Arena as it's only one stop with the public transport. Basic but clean bed and facilities.
Thin walls, you could hear the shower of neighbors and noises in the hallway.

Clean. Good bed. Good location. Very good location, walking distance of koln messe deutz station.
I should have checked before booking, so its on me. I didn't realise the bathroom would be open concept. However, the lack of soap options in the bathroom was surprising. Also the pillows were really uncomfortable to use. Not a lot of good restaurants around.

Perfect place if you are attending events at KoelnMesse.
Room - small, shower in the room (what do you expect from Ibis - budget?)
BUT: Breakfast is a JOKE - small choice of anything, almost no fruits, no vegetables, small choice of cheese or sausage - pure scrambled eggs - and that's it.

For the price you pay and what you get, the room was actually very small, and it felt quite expensive for what was offered. The location is rather remote, but parking was very convenient, which we appreciated. Overall, everything else was fine, and the staff were very kind.

These budget hotels are so basic. They are in our experience very expensive for what you actually get.

The price isn't bad, the bed was comfortable, hotel was generally clean.
The exposed shower is really weird and seems a bit old. Exposed shower also means it's a bit cold while showering. AC temperature adjustment didn't seem to change much. Location isn't the best for those that want to visit the city center.
