This modern hotel is located in the Merheim district, a 10-minute drive east of Cologne city center. Guests enjoy good access to Cologne/Bonn Airport as well as the A3 and A4 motorways. The hotel is not central but still quite well reachable, ca 15 min walk to different public transport options. The price level was good considering that it is a bit further away. The room was very spacious and clean, quite comfortable. You could open the window for some fresh air. The breakfast was very good! All essentials from cold selection plus a little extra and additionally you could order eggs tailor made. Staff was very friendly.
The only thing we missed was a coffee machine for public use for 24 hours. There was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room nor in the lobby. And there were no cafes quite nearby.

We stay here regularly as it's ideally situated for visiting family locally. We are well-known to all the staff who are always helpful and welcoming. Excellent breakfast, as always, and we always have the same large room at the back.
The only slight criticism is that the mattresses on the bed are too soft for our liking, but that's often a subjective topic. We always stay here if we can but as the hotel is used by business visitors to exhibitions at Cologne's exhibition centre we can't afford it if there's an exhibition taking place.

Due to circumstances we had to stay unexpectedly in this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they stayed a little longer to let us check in and help with the car. They arranged gluten free bread for me and my son loved the rest of the breakfast. Rooms were spacious, clean and convenient. Dog friendly. Parking available.
I think carpet is not really suitable for a hotel, since it is not as hygienic. The pillows were not comfortable, but that’s my personal opinion.
