Perfect location off the motorway. Windows on the ground floor are perfect. It allowed us to unpack straight from the car into the room. Good price for this room. Bed was comfortable. Happy we made this choice for a overnight stay during our holiday travels. Our room could have done with some maintenance.
We were in room 5. This room had some issues. My family was in room 3 and didn't have these issues. So just a maintenance thing, I guess. The switch for the shutter was not fixed to the wall properly. Only wiggling it and holding it would allow me to use the switch. The socket next to the desk does not function (tried it with my phone charger) so I had to boil the kettle in the bathroom. The hand element of the shower had no pressure.

Free parking, facilities around the hotel included an aldi and a petrol station. 3 mins walk to the metro to get into Cologne which was nice to use. Hotel very basic, for a short stay was adequate, car felt secure overnight with hotel cctv installed.
No air con so room was warm. Along with the traffic from the main road outside in summer with the windows open did disturb. Hotel also only accept cash for under €200 and would not let us check in before paying, so had to go find a cash machine to get the money out. Could have easily paid later that day or on checkout to stop the inconvenience.

Improve on their room standards
No fan or a/c during this hot summer which will force you to open the windows and there’s the highway. The noice is just too much and no possibility to have a good sleep
