Beautiful hotel, very clean, nice extra touches like bottles water and an Easter biscuit. Everything we needed in the room. Friendly check in. Extra comfortable bed and great shower. Really interesting building and different/special place to stay.
There was an event on in the bar on one of the nights and the music was unnecessarily loud and traveled down to the rooms below. One of the lifts was out of service so sometimes had to wait to reach the room.

The architecture, lay out and views are great.
The climate control was horrendous. It was insanely hot inside the hotel and in our room (28.6C on an average day in April) and there was no way to adjust the temperature properly. Staff came and said they fixed the air conditioning but they failed. Window handle was broken so it could bot be opened. We changed rooms in the middle of the night; next room similar issue, except at 24-26C. Thinking to change rooms again but after leaving window open for a full day it come down to 22.6C. One of the elevators was out of order during the full length of our stay, so only one left. Also, there was a loud party going on in the rooftop bar on Sunday evening, with beats audible in our room two floors below it. Only until 22pm, fortunately.

The staff were friendly, and the ambiance was pleasant
The location is not very close to the city center. The corridors were not clean and had old carpets. Only one elevator was working, and it was almost impossible to use due to high traffic and an outdated system. I also experienced ongoing electricity issues and had to complain almost every day—it was only fixed on the last day of my stay!

We found our initial suite on the second floor dark - few windows and not enough lighting. So, we upgraded to a suite on the 10th floor, which was far better with windows. The hotel is well located - not in the middle of the absolute core, so less noisy, but within walking distance of everything we were interested in. The staff were very helpful. We would come again.
The interior of the hotel looks a little dated and worn. We both thought it was time for a redo.

A beautiful hotel, lovely staff, facilities were fab.
Could do with a lick of paint now, and it's a shame there is no where to have dinner in the hotel.
