This is a slightly run down *** hotel in central Cologne. No thrills, but it does the job and the balcony and breakfast buffet were nice.
The hotel is decorated almost exclusively with images depicting the owner. Whilst this may sound as a nice personal touch, some of the photos may be less then appealing to some visitors. It really takes quite an ego to put the photo of your 70yo self on the beach in the dining room for your guests to enjoy while they are having their breakfasts. I, for one, would prefer that this kind of imagery stays in the owner's family album.

Location
Sink and bathtub drain holes were stuck so water was not draining.... Air conditioning was very noisy weird rattling noise but did work and cooled the room.

I like the location. It's very close to two tram stops that can get you anywhere. The breakfast was also nice with a decent amount of options.
The receptionist could be a little friendlier. The room was also not big. The window of my room is facing a busy street, so when you open the window to air the room, it's absolutely loud. Other than that it's pretty ok.

The hotel is on a street with infinity bars, caffes, shops, restaurants and everything you need. The tram and bus stops are very close. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast has many options, I didn't see this many thing on a hotel breakfast before. The room is big, comfy, clean. Water pressure is strong and the water is really hot. Many hotels have water problems but not this one. We even got free drinks because we didn't ask for cleaning.
The bathtub and the bathroom floor is really slippery when it gets wet. Hard to get out. We didn't get a balcony with view, there was only houses in front of us but the room was super so we didn't care.

A small and cozy hotel within walking distance from the train station — about a 20–30 minute walk, with a few sights to check out along the way. It's located on a lively street full of shops and places to eat for every taste. The staff is very welcoming, everything was clean, and the room was cleaned daily. Tasty and varied breakfast options, plus a small fridge in the room.

The place is very nicley located, near the train station and right in the middle of the city. Despite the location, it was quiet. The building is a bit old but it is still clean and well-maintained. The breakfast is also good.

Excellent location and breakfast. Affordable compact room that worked out fine for two friends on a work trip.
Only one room key was possible so it made things a little tricky for two individuals sharing a twin room, though the front desk could help unlock the door as needed.
