Great location near the main train station and the cathedral. Relatively quiet neighbourhood.

Great location, right in the center of the city. I saw a lot of bad ratings about this place and I experienced none of the flaws attributed by other people to this hotel. It was clean, no bed bugs, no dust, had a nice view. Overall, great value for the price and I would definitely go back. I came during a heatwave and despite there being no air-conditioning, the room remained pretty cool.
Small remark, I must admit that it's a bit noisy but some earplugs will definitely do the work. I could feel/hear the subway but especially the doors being slammed by other people in other rooms. But that's it.

The room was very clean. The bed was remarkably comfortable. We slept solidly.
The shower didn't drain well at first. However, the hotel addressed it as soon as we told the front desk.

there was a kitchen, but not a single knife, fork, plate,bowl dish, etc to be found in the kitchen. There is clearly a mismatch in expectations created with the view of a kitchen. No breakfast served, so no hotel

The room is not comfortable, there was a cabinet in a weird place next to the bed that was getting on the way and hit my head several times. The room was dirty, requires to be properly clean, dust all over the place. Not a good impression.

It is an OK hotel. A bit shabby for the price you pay. One thing, seems they have a tendency to tell you you can only pay cash because the machine broke down....

Location was incredible, can walk to all the good spots in Cologne with ease. No need to worry about traffic/parking when you stay here.
Kitchen was there....but only the coffee maker worked. Not very sound retardant. Could hear everyone who walk by, but still a great deal.
