Very good breakfast buffet with various options. Perfect location to walk around the attractiveness and along the river. Many options of the restaurants and markets nearby made me feel comfortable to do business.
If I had a air-conditioner in my room, that would make my stay perfect.

Good location within easy reach to the main attractions, shopping and cafes and not too far from the central station.
Tried using Google maps to get to the property but nearly got us lost till a local gentleman found us the place.

The hotel is situated in really great location in the city center. The room was small but enough for one person. It had all the basic amenities from cupboard with cloth hangers and a separate cloth rack to towels and washing liquids in the bathroom. Room was clean, but in the hallway some small trash was here and there.
The building is old, so there is no elevator, however this was informed when booking the hotel. The outlook of the hotel and the room is a bit worn down, but the cleanliness itself was good.

The place was good, I was able to walk everywhere from the hotel.
One day somebody was smoking inside the hotel. I smell this in my bathroom and also in my room (less strong, but still...). Also to open the window I had to climb on my bed.

The positition is really convenient for city centre, railway station, Dom. Breakfast is quiet generous and good. Staff is really welcoming.
Sigle room is incredible small: if the toilet's room is open, you can't open your luggage completely or open the room door. You must climb over your luggage to move yoursef. No table, no chair.

Very dirty, small room, could barely fit my suitcase through the door, uncomfortable twin beds, dirty carpet, after showering water flooded outside the shower, noisy outside, I would avoid this hotel in the future.

Central location, 10min walk from the main station. Water pressure in the shower was good (at least that!).
Do yourself a favour, spend a few more money and book another accommodation! The single room was claustrophobic, so small, no chair or desk, fan outside the window which didn't stop throughout the night, sink in the toilet completely blocked. Awful.

Double-charging for accommodation fees at Hotel Arde Kln Zentrum. During check-in, always make sure to confirm if the accommodation fees have already been paid. In March 2024, when staying at Arde Kln Zentrum, I asked if the payment had been made in advance, and the receptionist, a Turkish man in his 20s, said something strange like, "Do you want to pay for the accommodation now? Or is paying later okay?" Prepayment is common sense, but he seemed to think otherwise. After paying the accommodation fees with a credit card, I was asked if I needed the payment receipt, so I took it. Later, when I checked my booking on BOOKING.COM, I found that the hotel had already been paid 77 euros for the stay at Hotel Arde Kln Zentrum, two days prior, using the credit card. Immediately, I informed the Turkish male receptionist that they had double-charged me, and requested a refund for the amount I had just paid. He smoothly processed the refund and handed me a receipt. When I asked him why they had charged the prepaid accommodation fees again, he calmly responded, "Because you said you wanted to pay with a card." This man is using this tactic to double-charge accommodation fees from many guests. He shows no signs of panic and acts calmly. Beware of Arde Kln Zentrum.
