+ Great location in the old town and still close to the main station
+ small but modernised single room
+ comfortable single bed

Location was excellent for visiting Cologne’s main attractions. High quality fittings although you had to hold the shower head rather than be able to stand under it. Good breakfast. Staff helpful.
It was a bit noisy because of the pub next door but we did stay on a Friday night and the windows are well insulated so not a big problem.
