The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were able to leave our bags after checkout, whilst we visited the chocolate museum. Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options.
The shower wasn't very good - it probably just needed a new shower head and bracket.

The room was well-appointed, beds were comfortable, the location in the center of Cologne is perfect, in particular for attending concerts. The breakfast was very good.
Our room had a classic bathtub that was slightly difficult for taking a shower. Otherwise no negatives.

Location, beside river and Dom, good room. Nice staff.
As I told the reception, breakfast was very poor. I only took it on first day….dull minimal selection, dried up scrambled egg with no attempt to replace, service weak. Tried the breakfast on Sunday…..at 9.30 ( breakfast was to end at 10am). No staff, kitchen cleared, no eggs…..

Very good location, within 7 minutes from the railway station. Very friendly and helpful staff, day and night. Good breakfast.

Room insulation could be better. We could hear our neighbours using their bathroom, as well as the music from the bar next door

The location is perfect, espacially for our river cruise boarding. Close to all attractions.
Needed coffee in room… no pot… but staff was gentle enough to offer my hubby a cup of coffee❤️

Beautiful room, very clean and great personnel.
The room that we stayed in was right above a bar that played music until at least 2 a.m. You could hear the pounding of the bass all night long and tables were out on the sidewalk below with very loud and boisterous clientele. I'm all for a good party, but we were looking forward to a good night's sleep and that did not happen :/

+ Great location in the old town and still close to the main station
+ small but modernised single room
+ comfortable single bed
- bathroom has no door
- noise from the popular bar next door until well after midnight
